Fiber Storage Units for ADSS Cable

Fiber storage unit is a fiber storage snowshoe system used to store extra length of cable along the overhead line support line intact for future maintenance.

These fiber slack storage systems include the fiber storage unit body and aluminum tap bracket.

The tap bracket of aluminum consists of a pair of clamps, a carriage bolt and nut, and the clamping strand range is 1/4″ to 3/8″.

We use high-quality UV-resistant PP, PPE material or aluminum to make aerial fiber snowshoes, and the surface is treated with baked acrylic enamel coating or dielectric polypropylene to ensure its corrosion resistance and service life.

Fiber Storage Unit Features

Designed primarily for overhead cable slack storage and pole-mounted fiber cable slack storage applications

Maximum resistance to support the loads given by nature such as wind, rain, ice and snow

Aluminum fiber snowshoe has welded crossbars and baked acrylic enamel finish with chromate pre-treatment

Plastic fiber snowshoe uses thermoplastic polypropylene resin and carbon black UV inhibitor

Basic hanging hardware bolts, nuts, washers and wire clamps are included

Tie slots are used to secure cables and prevent them from sliding

Galvanized steel strand clamps can accommodate 1/4″ to 3/8″ steel strands
