CW-PA500: Anchor Clamp for Round Cables

Description:

The anchoring clamps are designed for a fast, easy, and reliable dead-ending of fiber optic cables on access networks with spans up to 100m.

A pair of wedges grips the cable automatically within the conical body. The installation does not require any specific tools and the operating time is drastically reduced.

Anchor clamps enable the dead-ending on poles or facades of figure-8 drop cables Ø 4.5 to 9mm with rigid insulation deployed on distribution networks. They are thus an excellent choice for the termination of FTTH figure-8 cables with a rigid structure.

This cable clamp allows you to secure cables without exposing them or separating the support components. Installation requires neither exposing nor separating the support cable, and will not damage the insulation.

This cable clamp has several names: wedge tension clamp, anchoring clamp, ADSS tension clamp, fiber optic anchor clamp,  anchoring tension clamp, wedge anchoring clamp, etc.

The anchoring tension clamp consists of a UV-resistant plastic body, a polymer wedge block, and a galvanized steel wire tail.

It can be easily, quickly, and reliably installed manually without the need for any tools, and is used for erecting overhead communication lines on utility poles. It is secured to the pole using a hook-and-loop structure, with the aid of hooks, brackets, etc.
