Lashing wire clamp also known as cable lashing clamp, is a special overhead line accessories hardware used in overhead cable and wire systems, especially in line installations between telecommunication and utility poles. Its main function is to fix the lashing wire wrapped around cables, wires and steel strands. Cable lashing clamp is designed to fix the end of the lashing wire when the cable span continuity or the end of the lashing wire coil is interrupted.
The lashing wire clamps are made of AISI 1018 cold rolled steel and consist of a stud, two washers and two nuts.
Securely fasten two tying wires or a No. 6 ground wire to any size strand from 1/4 to 7/16 inch (6-11 mm) in diameter and can be used temporarily or permanently.
